These terms cover using WinCopy, the Windows file-copy application published by Adiram ("we", "us"). By downloading or using WinCopy, you agree to them.
WinCopy Free is provided at no cost for personal and business use. WinCopy Pro is unlocked by a one-time purchase of a license key, granting you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to activate and use Pro features for as long as you like — no subscription, no expiry. Your license key is for your own use; please don't share or resell it.
You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer for the purpose of bypassing licensing, or use WinCopy to violate applicable law.
WinCopy is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We work to make file transfers reliable (see our published test coverage and benchmark notes in the repository), but we can't guarantee the software is error-free, and you're responsible for keeping independent backups of anything important — no copy tool, including this one, should be your only safeguard against data loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adiram is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of WinCopy, including data loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license (which is $0 for the Free tier).
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
